I was going defensive because he had an obvious advantage in reach and experience. It was so difficult to get in because he was so linear, and when I did get inside with a few shots, he traded with many more mighty blows; but hey, I enjoy the feeling of getting hit.

I Like to Hump Hard

Went on a hump today and my body is fucking tired. We even ran across a small (almost knee deep) river twice. My squad (2nd Squad) got lost because it was Staff Sergeant Nguyen's first time up the mountain and ended up on the wrong side of the valley! This added a few good extra miles of double time.

Many miles up steep hills
Run more miles with no pack
